Partners
OHPAH partners with unions, associations, training bodies, and EMS agencies — the organizations that already carry the fire service’s health fight. The record still belongs to the individual firefighter. The partnership is what gets it to them.
Who we partner with
01
Put an exposure record in every member's hands — one that belongs to the firefighter, not the employer, and survives a move between departments.
02
State and national fire-service organizations bringing member benefits and a standards-aligned health record to the people they represent.
03
Academic and research institutions studying occupational exposure, cardiac strain, and sleep in the fire service — with consenting firefighters, never a scraped population.
04
Agencies running the same calls under the same load, wanting the same record for their crews.
What a partnership is — and isn’t
A partnership never grants an organization access to an individual’s health data. Not the union, not the association, not the employer.
Where a partner needs visibility, it is department-level aggregate — the same boundary described on the Departments page — and never a roster of individuals.
Firefighters opt in to research explicitly. A partnership with a research body does not opt anyone in, and non-consenting members are excluded from the corpus entirely.
Brands offering members a discount are affiliates — a separate program, separately vetted. This page is for organizations.

A short note is enough. A founder reads every one of these — all three are firefighters.
